We the community, the players want to buy a official set of FFG acrylic templates, tokens and rulers. We need to see that this is going to happen.

I know that there are many small companies that provide and make acrylic stuff so please do not post links to other sites. My OCD sense is tingling and i would like to own acrylic stuff that FFG is making.

Make sure that the People in charge reads this and starts to put acrylic templates, tokens and rules in to production. We need this people!

I would like to see some FFG X-Wing official items like this for sale as i don't have the opportunity to participate in official sanctioned events as much as i would like to...let alone win the thing!

Absolutely. I got two of their shield tokens from my FLGS and it is NOT ENOUGH

Third party stuff is more customizable, and has some nice advantages IMHO. I use my <insert 3rd party here> Focus tokens vs the FFG ones I have because the FFG ones are dark and hard to see, while my <insert 3rd party here> ones are nice bright green. Pick your template color. All that kind of stuff. I'm content.

I agree. Don't let others profit off your game. Plus I want official x wing only, that is why I support this game

I think the rarity is fun for the acrylics, specially for people who spent alot of money for them, or won them. If they do a print on demand style acrylic set they should change color or make them double sided to at least show that set is part of the purchase and not the hard to find promos.

If that's what it took, I wouldn't have a problem with this. Gives us the official product we want, yet doesn't take away from the prizes of the events.

I am currently in the market fpr acrylics, so I whole heartily agree. Would be ace for some offical x-wing acylics.

I think this would be the ideal. Having sets that are evidently prize pack sets and then ones that you can buy. If FFG put out their own set of acrylics I would be all over it. I don't have the money to buy prize acrylics off of ebay and I joined way to late in the game to get them from actual tournaments.

I got some of the stuff they sell for Warmachine. For the price they call the stuff needs to be a better quality! A guy here does laserjobs too (industrial level, no cheap 5k $ backyard laser, he's doing it for a living) and he did a few simple templates with engraving to show me the difference. Difference in production costs? Less then 10%, he can do the same stuff at better quality, sell it for less and still make a good profit! All based on the WM items I own!

So what I'm saying, before I would spend money on any templates from FFG again they need to talk to their laserguy and have them do a better job.

A well thought through X Wing acrylic set with a good amount of the stuff you need would be cool though.

I can post whatever I want as long as it isn't obscene or profanity. That being said your demand for in house acrylics will never happen if they haven't happened yet.

I don't understand the need for it to be FFG supplied acrylics since they wouldn't be the ones making them anyways. They don't have the machinery to do it, they would higher aTHIRD party to make it for them your crazy train of thought makes no sense. You want acrylics than get the ones in the game night kits (made by a third party but sold by FFG) or buy from another vendor.

I am happy with the third party stuff at the moment. Actually, I'm happy with the cardboard ones currently. I'd much prefer they offer a pack of replacement stands.
