im the dude who bought the one for $50 lol i saw it for buy it now and considering that i saw a lando sell for $80 when it first came out, (i only paid $40 for my lando) i jumped on it. Im trying to build a collection of live action cards to attempt to eventually fly a live action squad lol. Would be easier if i could just attend the tournaments but they a few thousand miles from me. I am all the way up in Oregon so.

Having recently joined the ranks of X-Wing (Hi chaps) I must admit, that price is verging on the damned silly. $40+ for some new art work...I'm out.

I guess there are a lot of X-Wing players, and only ~200 or so of those cards out there. I suppose there have to be a couple folks happy to pay for something rare.

It is a damned pretty card, though. I'm still partial to my Wedge I traded for (with the prices they were going for, a TIE Advanced seemed a small price to pay) but I may have to do a Boba build just so I have an excuse to use the new card.

If you stuck around to the end (after top 16 got announced) they were giving out a second copy to participants who didn't make top 16

If you think that is silly the coins that regional champions won in the Star Wars LCG were selling for between $150-$300 on ebay. I mean Star Wars is a very collectible IP in general and when you release a super rare item like these cards where there are only a few out there people will pay for it.

Personally, I wouldn't pay so much for them.. that said, I would love the over sized ship cards for the Falcon and Slave 1.. but again, not into paying much for them..

I guess this is a way to get prize money.
