Awesome sauce! Got my GM screen last night. Check the site this AM to see that Beyond the rim is now in boxes on the move, and the first two supplements (Enter the Unknown and Suns of Fortune) are on boats!

Beyond the Rim shipped weeks ago. I assume that this a re-stock / reprint. Or did I manage to get it early?

It's a restock. Beyond the Rim was officially released shortly after Gencon, arriving in retailers across the globe. It was out like a month or two before AoR beta started appearing in retail shops.

I was lucky enough to grab Beyond the Rim when it first released...starting it tomorrow night.

I missed out on the GM kit though, so I should go down to my FLGS soon to check to see if it is in. Really looking forward to the other two splat books...not as eagerly as the Hired Gun book, but eager nonetheless.

Whut?! My online store says Enter the Unknown is expected to arrive tomorrow....

Although last time their Beyond the Rim expected date was also a week to early...

Still excited that the release of a new book is finally drawing close.

So, with Beyond the Rim expected by Nov. 21st, and EtU expected first week of December, could Suns of Fortune be far behind? It's "on the boat," so I think that a mid to late December release is certainly do-able...

While we can hope, the entry now for Suns of Fortune now says Jan 2014.

I can barely believe there was a time I felt VERY suspicious about running a SW RPG. I'm amazed that this system has me so psyched. I haven't felt this energised about an RPG in years.

I hope I can get my hands on a copy before the end of the year. I'm planning on starting my EotE campaign in January, and one of my players really wants to play a Big Game Hunter. So it would be nice if we could use spec from the get-go.

Oddly enough, one of my players is already a big game hunter. He used the Bounty Hunter: Survivalist to begin with. Once we see the new explorer spec he may change, but honestly it works pretty well for him.

Hah, that is actually the character he has currently listed as the one he wants to play, but a Big Game Hunter fits more as he doesn't really think the term Bounty Hunter is appropriate for the type of character he wants to play. So if we play before BtR is out here, then he's probably going ahead with the Survivalist and maybe do a respec once the BGH is available.

Well, actually they are supposed to be shipped to the stores as we speak (according to the upcoming games section). The turn around time is in question though, especially if you ordered it from a retailer who has to ship them to you.
