i have Heard somewere that you dont get any range mod to a attack from a secoundary weapon.... but i cant find it in the rule book plz help

The range modifiers only apply to Primary weapons... Thats the part you need to focus on

Page 10 Bottom:

R ANGE C OMBAT B ONUSES

[....]

[... Range combat bonuses only occur when a ship is attacking with its primary weapon .]

Also need to remember that the Defender doesn't get the defense bonus from Secondary weapons at Range 3 either.
