If you traded Chewbacca for Nien Nunb, and traded the X for an A, you could do:

But that's just an alternate build. I LOVE HLCs near Roark, as they 1-shot things so easily when shooting at level 12.

This isn't to say that your original build isn't good: it is much better at keeping Roark alive, and gives you more options to choose for his ability. The Advanced Sensor on the BS pilots also mean that you've got quite a bit of utility once Roark goes down as well.

This is probably the best version, with a second place going to version 1. The effectiveness of Advanced Sensors can not be understated, and one pilot shootingbefore EVERYONE else is very potent. Expect the HLC B to get focused down quickly, so after the initial pass, try to keep that one at range 3 of the action while the other B and the X close to range 1. Give Roark's bonus to whoever is gonna take the most shots, since they are likely not long for this world, unless you have an opprotunistic shot at a high PS pilot like Wedge or Soontir and could potentially remove them from the board before they fire.

Advanced Sensors cost 3 not 2...FCS is 2 and still pretty good, but I think the first list is best for its versatility, and ability to stick around. The others...I personally wouldn't want to put just 1 HLC down cause that guy is a kill-first target, but if you were able to find the points for both while keeping the X...you got some insane Firepower
