We finally get Card Boxes for Ships and Upgrades

By Azul, in X-Wing

Did you see that some of the prizes for the store championships include card boxes. It will be nice to finally have boxes available to hold all the cards in.

I bought card boxes as soon as I saw that there were multiple pilots.

And you have to win them.....

Don't really need them. I made custom Battle Foam trays that include storage for all of my cards, both pilot and upgrades.

I'm much more interested in the Ten Nunb card. :)

What he said ^

If they had containers specifically for everything, I'd grab them in a heartbeat.

It's weird, fantasy flight putting out prize support that I don't particularily care to have. My current storage system wouldn't allow for the cardboxes, not to mention they look like the are sized exclusively for pilot cards, so still no solution for the much smaller upgrade cards.

Luckily enough, this prize support drops as I take over running tournaments at my local store (or, more accurately, begin creating a playerbase at my new store...) so I can use this stuff as incentives for new players. All I want is the organizer's range ruler and one of the Ten Numb cards, and since it looks like they are sending out about 15-20 of them, and my playerbase is currently 3 dedicated and 5-6 introductory players, I won't have a problem snagging one.

Yeah, especially since I am not that good at the game.

I would like the ability to buy the range rulers, templates, target locks etc. they give as prizes. I think they are great prizes but really I want some too and I don't play in organized play.

i find it easier to store them in a binder, in coin holder pages.. can flip directly to the card i need...

I'd like to see what these would go for on E-Bay. The Star Wars LCG coin is an exercise in insanity for pricing.

I doubt these will go for much on ebay. Those LCG coins though are ridiculous. I like mine, but if someone wants to give me $200 for it, I'll take it! LOL

I use the zip bags that come with the miniatures for my cards and the bag that the stands come in are great for the upgrade cards.. sleve all cards and I'm a happy man.. Boxes, we don't need no stinking boxes..
