I have been reading the core rules and I keep paging past the starship on page 29. That piece of art is amazing, but I forget what ship it is. I am pretty sure it is an scout ship of some type. I think it is from one of the old WEG products. Perhaps we can convince FFG to put a starship reference index in the back of the books.

Hmmm. It looks a little like a Seinar Flight Systems Mu-2 long range shuttle, which were often used as scout ships, at least allowing for artistic interpretation both at the image under discussion and the one I'm comparing it to at p. 37 of the West End Games product, Galaxy Guide 8 Scouts.
It is a nice illustration, isn't it?
