B-Wing pilot advice......

By Captain_Arrr, in X-Wing

Which pilot is better depends on what you want from them. Ten practically requires marksmanship and/or standard issue protons due to the increase in crit odds, but he's deadly accurate and will at the very least strip his target of an evade that they might otherwise not have needed against him, the downside is that both the heavy laser cannon and the ion cannon are somewhat wasted points on him. Ib on the other hand has good attack and can be rather tanky, particularly if you decide to give her her stress token with elusiveness instead of PTL. And her movement isn't nearly as predictable as other ships that give themselves stress since she doesn't actually need to shed it. Losing an action isn't good but she can afford to for a couple rounds if need be since she's getting another bonus.

In short use Ten if you are mainly using the B-wing as heavy fire support and Ib if you want to mix it up a little more.

I am going to try a ion combo ib dancer list in my next tournament. I hope she does well, but after playing with a shuttle with advanced sensors, the tactical advantage for that ship alone was worth theory crafting on a b-wing. I also gave her Vi for the PS8 that will let her make even better choices on where to end up.
