When I first saw the guy at Can Nats last year, I had to do a double take cause he lookes earily like a friend of mine circa 2002ish... Minus 50 pounds.

I agree his character card from the symbol spread to the abilities will see a lot of play. Assuming people want to compete with him for diversity if hes going to run him this season.

When I win character card, I'm making Olexa design it. Excellent character is excellent. Magnifique!

He is top notch awesome, and always has been, his char took a long time to get the credit it deserved, now that it is all I can say is "about **** time"

Btw...any word on when the other characters/assets are being released?

I agree with possibly living the good life, but if I was in that spot I would feel like I'd have to do it again to keep up the title. Even still if I was in his place I'd feel very weird with people talking about how great my own card is, just would seem that way.

Geese-they should be coming in when Set 12 comes out. Seeing as how I'll probably see Omar the day he has them POSSIBLY, and IF for some reason you can't get one, I'll happily acquire an extra and just send it your way.

i have never met andrew olexa, but his char is awesome. i don't think anyone will ever be able to design a character as good as his (minus pre-errat mat kohls.)

The first time I met Andrew Olexa was at worlds 2k8 when he gave me a strange look as I set down Rikuo and asked "who are you sandbagging into?" and after kindly whooping my butt 2-0 shook my hand and gave me 3 of himself for my silliness.

I'll get around to building him my way eventually, but until set 12 comes out and block 3 really comes out, he's going to hit in my folder right behind the Seductive Booties... I mean Beauty...

everyone who said akuma was better than olexa just can't read. he is lotm and brt on a card in your staging area from the get go. broke card is broke. this card is so nuts and with olexa himself piloting it this year, he's gonna launch alot people into midnight.

his version of himself last year at worlds was so sexy me and him played and all 3 games ended on turn 2. what a man beast. he beat my blue hair and tb and AIDS. dood is to strong and really is a robot from the future.

As aware as I am that Olexa (and other human character cards) is extremely potent, I wouldn't find myself playing them as I don't see the appeal of playing with a human character, it just doesn't appeal to me. Don't get me wrong, it truly is one of the 'greatest prizes in gaming', you don't get much more flattery than that, and I probably would play my own character card were I ever to gt one, but playing with someone elses just doesn't feel right to me.

Also, as far as I'm concerned, the only real thing Olexa has over Akuma is his resources. And if Feline Spike were to ever disappear, his ability would be hurt quite a lot, from what I can see. His effects are brutal, and 7HS is all well and good, but if I had to pick Olexa or Akuma PURELY on their text boxes, I'd have to pick Akuma. Board committal like that doesn't come over every day...

and after a 1 and a half hour semi in regional akuma wins by the skin of his teeth. btw alexia is amazing her abilitys are silly but then again so are akuma's pick which kill u like better and run with it
