Hardcover vs. Software. OR Why all the paperwork?

I prefer to have my books in an electronic format, at least in theory. I mean, we should have the technology to do this by now! However, I find PDFs to be a horribly awkward file format to navigate, and can't believe that we haven't come up with something smarter by now.

So I'll play the luddite and sit in a corner and mutter until technology stops messing around and starts being clever again. Harumph!

I love books. My whole family grew up with a book in one hand and toys in the other. I had a bookcase in my room rather then a closet growing up. My Man cave has three book cases now for all my games and books and work related references. I do try to back up all my hard copy books with electronic files. That way I have the best of both words. If I have to go some where and have to pack a little light I can grab the laptop, the dice and a folder with character sheets and maps and call it good.

Books or PDF's ones good both make you versatile and nimble.
