I hope my mediocre computer skills will be able to make something of these, Cheers. Now I just need some green Ion Storms so I can ignite my gas clouds!

Yeah Ion Storms will be next.. when I get some spare time.

Just thought I'd add in my appreciation for the hard work and effort put into this project. You have done an outstanding job, I'll have to run to a place to print this out and get a set made..

I've been dying to try this but have had no time.

Saw someone over on another forum got to try this out. Has anyone here?

Here is a pic of us fighting in the mine field yeasterday. We started with six, ended with four.

Cool picture. So you were playing them as destroy on contact then? That's cool. did it work well.

When I wrote the version for the cards they were more or less Asteroids that do 3 dice damage.

We played them exactly that way. It worked excellently.

Two ties ran into mines, but otherwise the players were skilled enough to avoid them.

I played rebels, so I maneuvered the dp20 in the field to try and keep the tie swarm at bay. It didn't work. Although I didn't hit any mines, the tie swarm cdr. is experienced and skilled.

We used the proximity mine token as a template. I ordered the mines from Shapeways and cut the blue bases from art foam. They are light and flexible, yet they hold their shape after being crammed into my mini-box.

It was hell-a fun!

I like your ideas, specifically, the moving asteroids would make for some neat narrative gameplay moments! We will have to play test your rules, but they seem at first glance really solid and your templates look fantastic.

The youtube channel Fritz40k also had some neat ideas for wreckage and anomalies: http://youtu.be/4KnguyCg9mg

I'm personally destroying some perfectly good micromachines ships to represent wreckage as it seems like a neat idea.

Great job and great rules that add flair to the game! Kudos to you my friend!

The nice thing is the system is fairly modifiable if you don't like one of them, remove the card. If you want more wierd stuff, take out some of the basic Asteroids, if you want less Add a second set of base Asteroids to your deck. If you just want more or less stuff, deal more or less cards.

When I get a bit of time I'm probably going to work on a couple more mini sets which add to the sets that you already have.

I was thinking a Extreme set , involving 4-5 seriously dangerous and effective things. Automated defense systems that fire on the closest ship. Moving Volatile Rocks, Moving Proximity mines, Large Mine Fields etc.

and a Large Battle set , which will include things like multiple Gravity wells which have limited range (not full board). Large areas with effects (as you will be playing on a larger board) Things like Dead Space, Picket Lines, Debris Fields. Etc.

If anyone has any cool ideas for either set that would be awesome.

Yeah I'll have to think about Wreckage, just gaining a stress is not a bad idea, It would definitely work for larger Debris Fields in the Large Game Set . Their Anomaly is almost identical to the Dead Space I was talking about, but mine also gave Agility -1...

That's awesome, kind of like an acid trip in space!

We should have a German translation coming soon.

Ausgezeichnet.
