Only a little over a week to go before World's in Roseville, MN. I know that I am looking forward to the two challenges that are part of the Balance of the Force expansion.

The challenges are more that likely run by a FFG staff member against two to three players. Each will have a deck, but what are everyones thoughts on how the decks need to synergize?

I know that some posts have covered the 2v2 tourney but have not seen any posts about deck ideas for the challenges.

I was thinking about a Imperial Navy deck with heavy damage ability to possibly play with a Sith/Vader/Palpy deck.

Thoughts?

The deck-building rules will make things tough. You can't just throw any 2 or 3 players in with their regular decks. That's one advantage mono-faction decks will have though: easy to find other decks you can partner with.

For going against the LS challenge deck, I think at least one highly aggressive DS deck will be a must. Having a partner running some pretty good board control to help clear the way for the aggressive attacks is also probably a good idea. I would also suggest that the control player sit in the position where they will be attacking first each turn so that their tactics can open holes for your Star Destroyers...
