hmm I collect both and I equally admire the rebellion and the empire. I have played far more games as the rebels just because i like some of the unique pilots alot (wegde and biggs). My upcoming games I'm going to run imperial lists, i need to get up to speed with strategy with the new wave 3 stuff. Bought it just haven't run em in a game yet.

I've found that I'm a sucker for themed lists both rebels and imperials, and will sacrifice power and advantage to run squads that make sense to background fluff. I have more fun that way i guess..

I actually prefer both sides. Now granted I don't have many wave 1 ships so that might change.

I have a small collection of ships and buy evenly as I play with my son a lot. I was Imperial but he decided to go to the dark side. Plus I am all about the B Wing now. I like the extra shield/hull even with 1 less die to roll.

I've been playing both up until now but it is my intension to master one or the other. I just haven't decided which I prefer. They are both very different play styles and I'm leaning toward the Rebel Alliance. It would be fun to be the guy that flies the three small based ships that the local swarm players fear to fly against. Everyone's gotta have a dream!

I'm a big fan of A-wings too, i know how you feel. I do believe they are viable, you just have to use the right combination or only have 1 or 2 As (probably tycho or a green) in your squad. They have the best actions and maneuver dials of the rebel ships.

It is noteworthy to mention as well that Green squadron pilots are the lowest costing rebel ship (and non-unique pilot period) that have an elite pilot talent upgrade available for the rebel scum.. i mean alliance. I think the black squadron pilots are the imperials lowest costing and non unique that have EPT.

Still too new to choose a side! I like imperials story wise/ movie wise and the fire sprays, interceptors, and howl runner are awesome; but I like repainting rebels more, I love my shields, and I like a balanced aproach with well rounded ships.

Either side for me......I'll even play "Pirates" vs "Espos" just to get some fighters on the table.
