Hi there players, in epic-anvanced mode do the heros still draw only one shop item card per hero from the shop item deck or do the heros take out all the shop item card that they can afford and draw between them? I understand that items may be out of stock and thats the reason for only drawing one card per hero. But we played core rules started the campain shuffled ALL the relevant act shop cards and through the quests and different acts each drew one card but almost never got something to afford or that can be used among the heros. Am I understanding how this works wrong? . Please help.
Shop Item cards in Epic-Advanced mode
you give them the whole shop and they may decide on how they spent their 250 (150 in advanced) gold. they may even share their gold with eatch other

Just so as we're clear: The Epic Play rules are not intended to be used in conjunction with Campaign mode.
You play Advanced or Epic if you want to do a one-shot game but still make use of skills and items, since a normal one-shot starting with basic gear would never provide the opportunity to spend XP or gold.
If the heroes are having trouble earning gold to spend between quests, they need to learn how to balance Searching and completing objectives in a way that gets them some net profit.
Edited by Steve-OSteve-O, I think he's referring to spending the gold they get in Epic Play (At the Advanced level, they each get 150 gold worth of Act I cards). So the question is for spending it, do they just get to choose from whatever, or are they restricted to a certain set of items drawn from the top of the deck.
That said, the rules aren't clear, but I think it's assumed that they can choose whatever they want. The "Number of cards equal to the number of heroes + 1" is something specific to the Shopping step of the Campaign phase, which wouldn't be a situation in Epic Play.

His reference to only drawing one card per hero is what made me suspect he was trying to play Epic rules in the campaign. I could be wrong, and if so, so be it. I was only trying to help in the event that that's what he was trying to do.
