Double firespray list

Hi That's my first post here ;)

I've been playing lately with this list:

Boba(39)

Gunner(5)

Proton bombs(5)

VI(1)

Kath(38)

Gunner(5)

Seismic charges(2)

Proton torpedoes(4)

VI(1)

I think about bringing this list to local tournament. I've been very succesful against various 3-4 ship rebel forces, but never played against swarm and double falcons. Please comment and give some hints.

I'm actually thinking about a similar list with Fett and Krassis Trelix. But i fear that Fett has not enough punch.

Thats what i miss on your list. Solid punch, like delivered from Krassis + HLC.

I guess the VI is to counter the 'Han shoots first' lists?

Don't you think that two firesprays would suffer the same way that two YT-1300 do, but without the 360 fireing arc.

Firesprays have a little more survivability, having twice the evasion dice and the evade ability. However, yes, they do suffer a bit.

Try out 3 Bounty Hunters at some point, where one of them has an Intelligence Agent. That's 100 points, there.

I took double firesprays to my first ever tournament, though with a slight twist. I added fel with push the limit and stealth, do I just took 2 stock bounty hunters :D

I do feel that 2 firesprays is better with a 3rd ship, although I am looking forward to trying out dual firesprays at some point (I have about 30-50 lists I want to try out).

One list I came up with was.

As well as lists designed around getting advanced proton torpedo to hit nicely, either with recon and deadeye or push the limit, though PTL on a firespray scares me slightly... :D

I run 2 Firesprays regularly. I find Gunner was my old go to crew, now it is a Recon Specialist and I often use PtL as well.

Using Boba and Kath with a Recon and PtL makes for good damage output and enhanced defense. I usually put a missile on one of them and Adv Proton Torps on the other.

It's a nifty set up.

I'm a big fan of the Firespray, but I like to run Vader with them. Having 2 defense dice and the evade action whenever you think you'll need it (via Vader w/ Squad Leader) makes the Firespray crazy resilient.

VI sits there for bombs. PTL + Recon Spec better than VI + Gunner? I could also swap proton bombs + torpedoes for seismic + HLC

Flight Instructor works best on high agility ships, so why not put stealth device on while you're at it, to give both ships 3 dice with (hopefully) one reroll? Also, Kath with the autoblaster is scary. If she rolls a crit with it, they have to get a stress token if they cancel it.

...Flight Instructor? Seriously?

I mean, this is the only build where it would even be feasible, but when you're passing up both Gunner and Recon Specialist, it falls extraordinarily flat.
