I just realized that you can, potentially, add 2 of the same non-unique crew member to these two ships, instead of adding two different ones.
If you double them up,
Intelligence Agent lets you see 2 different ships' movements.
Mercenary Co-Pilot lets you transform 2 hits into crits (even with an HLC)
Recon Specialist would net you 3 foci
Flight Instructor would let you re-roll 2 dice (only useful at Range 3, or with Asteroid bonuses)
The rest don't do anything if you use them in multiples, but those are all interesting things!
