AT-AT vs Subzero Defenses

By Hellenback, in Star Wars: The Card Game

If I have Subzero Defenses in my play area and my opponent plays and attacks with an AT-AT and he chooses to destroy my Subzero Defenses, does it trigger my Subzero Defenses and destroy his AT-AT as well? or does the AT-AT destroy it before it can trigger?

It would be destroyed and unable to trigger.

A bit more info on why that's the case:

The AT-AT's effect happens "after this unit is focused to strike."

Subzero Defenses happens "after its strike resolves."

Resolving a strike has three steps:

1. Choose one of your participating ready units.
2. Focus the unit to strike (i.e. place a focus token on the card).
<<<< AT-AT destroys Sub-zero Defenses here
3. He resolves the striking unit’s combat icons by type.
Strike is resolved (complete)
<<<< Sub-zero Defenses would destroy the striking unit here, if it was still in play

Toggle is correct.
