That reminds me, I never did get around to uploading pictures of the mirrored blue and mirrored red templates that I got. I'll have to do that later today. They arrived almost a week late (USPS to blame), but they got here! They are quite nice. I also got custom range 1 and range 2 templates, which are SO handy. I only use the range 3 template now when I am measuring the edge of range 3 for target locks etc.

I like the new token designs. The starbursts on the Focus and Stress tokens are pretty similar. I'd want to see maybe horizontal lines or a dotted circle behind the "!" on the Stress token, so it's a little easier to distinguish at a glance.

The Shield token is perfect.

I got focus in green and stress in orange (much brighter than the red, super easy to see on the board/mat). They are very distinct. Even in the same color they are pretty distinct. Evade in green, ion in orange, shield in blue.

Hey! I'm very new to X-Wing and saw an awesome set of mirrored acrylic templates/tokens on Kickstarter today and wanted to see if anyone has bought stuff from this Daft Concepts and how they compare to the Applied Perspective's ones...

Well, you can order from Applied Perspective and get the product in a couple days. Or any of the other various high quality laser cut template vendors (Litko, Team Covenant, etc). Or you can back a kickstarter campaign from a new vendor and wait.

I know AP has chrome/mirror finishes available, and you can order whatever components you want, no need for a whole package if you are not interested in that. I think AP is cheaper too, even with a complete kit with tokens for everything.

Maybe I'm just partial because I know the guy who owns AP tho.

No news. I'm swamped at work, and I think Adam is pretty busy as well. I will probably be a while before we can revisit it realistically.

Thought I would go back and revive this, because I just picked up some new templates from Adam yesterday. My wife got some as well - mirrored pink with a girly script font.

But these turned out pretty incredible. As usual the pic doesn't really do them justice - the engraving really pops in person, but the mirrored finish is so reflective (note the ceiling tiles reflected in them) that if I try to take a picture from directly above all you can see is me and my phone.

I'll see if I can get a better picture or two up later, but hats off to Adam on an amazing job; custom color, custom font, custom range rulers...turned around in just a couple of days.

As a B-Wing player, I'll be seeing a lot of this little guy. Tried to get this dead on but the light still caught a corner of it.

And then, just for fun I retook the pic catching as much light as possible. I love this color because when the light hits it, it looks like molten copper or something.

Is there a 'laser green' available as well?

Not sure what "laser" green means but he has a ton of options in green.

Now I bought a lot more than what you see here. Go to their website and build your cart. Its pretty easy to see the cost. Now dont be alarmed, there thing aint cheap. But they are good products.

Forgive me, put that looks more pink that purple. Is the lighting just reflecting on it weirdly? It looked like according to the AP color options, that it would be a more royal (darker) purple. color. Is there a better shot of this, or is this pink actually what shows up for "mirrored purple"?
