What to do with Blister Packaging from the Models?

By Azul, in X-Wing

So, I already bought BattleFoam to hold all of my models in. I kept all the blister packaging too though because I'm worried there might be some reason I might need it again in the future.

What does everyone in here think? If I have BattleFoam is there any reason to keep the old blister packs?

nope

nothing I can think of

You can use the lids as paint trays otherwise RECYCLE! the plastic.

It's a really useful surface for working sheets of greenstuff on.

This type of plastic is good for making certain types of terrain, so I keep the main bulk of my blisters.

I keep it for use as window pane material on my models, but other than that there's no X-wing Miniatures Game related reason I should keep it.

I keep it to annoy my girl friend

I heard if you turn it back in to FFG, for every 5 blister packs you get a free Y wing...... -_-

someone should investigate that :D

:)

I've seen a couple of people cut out the depression of the blister to use as a setting for the model in foam.

I cut the blisters as small as possible as to still be able to hold the ship and use it to secure ships in my trays of my carrying suitcase:

i actually cut mine up and use it for ice on 25mm round miniature bases.. if you use some of the model water effects and snow flock around it, can end up looking real good. right now im working on some fallout brother hood of steel 28mm miniatures w/ snow bases..

I use Battlefoam storage so the trays were not needed. I cut some of mine up for the thin plastic card stock.

Battlefoam storage is great, but if you ever don't want to bring everything you frickin own with you the blisters are very good for safely protecting the ships in a much smaller container.
