Extra Named Pilots Cards?

By Rob.DavisRGG, in X-Wing

Forgive me if this has been asked before but I was wondering... When we buy more than one copy of a ship we end up with extra copies of the Named Pilots, so does anyone have any ideas of what to do with them? Other than just tossing them?

I gave mine to a friend who only had the core sets.

I wouldn't throw them away though. Never hurts to have a extra copy of something, in case you lose or damage the one you play with.

Mount them all up on boards, frame them, put them up on the wall as decorations..

I use them for bookmarks.

Which is extra fun since I'm reading the X-Wing books, now. :)

We get extra cards?

We get extra cards?

Sure, if you buy more then 1 expansion you get all the cards again. But you can never use more then one unique pilot in a list. So if you have say 2 X-Wing expanions, you have 2 Wedge cards but can only use one of them.

My extras are up for trade if anyone has extra game night promo cards...

Ah, get it now. ;)

Feel dumb now.

Sell some of them on eBay. With the xwings and tie fighters still out of print (though it looks like that will end soon) people can't get those pilots and will pay more than they should.

I keep one extra of each named in my deck boxes so that we can do mirror matches. The rest I savw for a rainy day.

Selling em doesn't really seem worth it, i don't need the money especially a few dollars per card..might as well just keep em. I'm still interested in the promo cards though.. I'm trolling ebay constantly without much luck.

I gave them to the FLGS, so that if someone loses one, he can provide them. Kind of a community service, as it were.

I'm hanging on to mine, in case I ever trade ships. I want to be able to provide everything that came with it originally without leaving holes in my game decks.
