Here is my new 3x4 game mat. The mat is designed with a half foot on each side allowing space for cards and damage decks. I used white as to make it as easy as possible to identify where your token markers, damage deck, and movement templates are. Having these items easier to see makes for quicker game time.

The material of the mat is signage, strong and durable, unlikely to tear.

The cards fit Perfectly in the 1/2 foot space, damage can fit below while your upgrades surround your ship. This also leaves room for number tokens, shield tokens, crit tokens, or any other token you would need.

I am currently working on producing more of these, if you have a custom image that is 3x3 (please allow us to make as minimal changes to the image as possible) we will gladly produce and sell more of these cheap!! (IE around 10$ or less, but as I quoted we are still determining price.)

Not unless I get confirmation from Lucas, which I would probably be include to ask. Even the image I used for this I would need to get a letter of consent from the creator. There are things I would like to do, such as put a small line for range 1 starting positions, make an area for your damage deck, discarded cards, and templates.

Since it looks like you're able to print right to the edge, I'd consider putting a metallic-looking frame around the white areas. And instead of pure white, I might use a not-too-busy pattern of pale colors (diagonal stripes or a gradient might be better than nothing).

anyway to get the striations out of the vinyl and make it non glossy? looks cool though.. i am currently using low cut automotive replacement carpet.. got a 72"x36" sheet for 8 bucks...

Not particularly, however it isn't really noticeable. I will have to see what I can get through my printer as far as different product but this is unlikely to tear and is the same stuff used on banners for the side of buildings. As far as gloss goes I don't think I can get that removed either, since the print material is normally used for advertisements. I will check on these things however.

Wow impressive, do you know what higher placing people got and how many people where in the tournament?

If gloss is an issue, just about any art supplies store will carry acrylic matte spray varnish. But it might make your surface tacky/sticky. That could be a good thing or a bad thing. Test it first!

What about simple open source starfields, I've been looking for a simple black background with stars (like the background behind the opening title crawl in SW ANH) but everything tends to be more extravagent. I imagine the Hubble issues from NASA would make great images too if you'd like something with more zing. Could you make one with either of those, simple starry background shot or NASA images? I'd definitely be interested.

The Rebel and Imp logos would be cool if approved. I also second the idea of having side areas with some color, be it simple yellow/black alternating diagonal stripes like a caution zone or a generic looking hanger floor. Make the "Imp" side all shiny and the Rebel side dingy. LIke the card boarders to the old SW CCG decks, very simple but effective. The Imp cards looked highly polished, the Rebel ones rusted. Just google Star Wars CCG and you'll see it.

I would buy one. I would like a bit darker image myself so the color pops overall but at the price you're listing it's fabulous. What are your shipping charges?

Side one gives us a nebula with a lone moon, while the nebula disrupts nearby ships and makes it near impossible to pass, a lone hyperspace route allows safe passage. The moon is used as an advanced recon post, and whoever has control can help control the hyperspace lane.

Side two gives us a planet and moon, the planet has no special traits however it happily supports most forms of life. A close proximity moon gives the planet active volcanoes that release a breathable gas even for Kel Dors. Rich in resources and a good place for recruits, control of this sector is vital to win the war effort.

I still don't have a price but hope to have a final product on the line soon! I will update when I can.

Both of these are amazing. The boarder and the black staging areas really inproved the design. The only improvement i would suggest is to move the logo to the staging area, turn it so it is facing the player and add another on the opposit corner.(facing the other player)

The images are truly superb, but for me, the danger-border-stripes are a bit too much; I'd prefer a more neutral colour like steel-grey or something but that's purely personal I guess.

I like the space but your planets/moons are a bit odd coloured. But the grey rather than white edging is much better

I love the first side. I'm not totally crazy on the 2nd side but if you can keep the cost under $20 like you were originally thinking i will still buy one.
