Hmm. Was hoping for Mara Jade to remain a subtle, background unit: Deadly, but not necessarily something I'm gonna face in every game versus a Sith deck. Guess that's not the route they wanted to go with her.

Now if we could just get a REAL Boba Fett. Am I right?!

I'm just glad people's concern that we'd be "stuck" with just the version designed for team play from the Limit 1 in Balance of the Force were unfounded.

Also, this version of Mara is crazy... and she's 4 cost. They really, really want you to play around with force commitment this cycle...

Lol we have two Mara Jades, but still only one boba fett. Unless, of course he's in one of these sets and we just don't know it yet.

Hmm... 3 Force Icons for my side and still have use of 3 Force Cards? Mara Jade you so crazy.

With the lightsaber, you can have 4 units committed to the force? Need a rules check on this. Rules say you are hard limited to 3 force cards not 3 units committed. Also if she is equipped with lightsaber and is "committed to the force", she then receives two focus tokens for focusing to strike... correct? Wording seems to imply as such.

One thing I'm wondering about with this game is why there is so much focus on the EU from after Return of the Jedi when alot of that may or may not even be valid after the new movies come out when we could have people from The Force Unleashed like Galen or even Shaak Ti or even more of a variety of characters from the movies like Owen, Beru, Zuckuss and 4-LOM. Don't get me wrong, I really like this game and just bought the last Hoth cycle pack today so I'm not really complaining but just wondering. Thanks

^ What are some examples? All the EU material I've come across in this game is relevant to the Classic Trilogy's time period. The Witches of Dathomir may not appear in the films, but they are still there, and could conceivably be encountered in an alternate telling of the story. And Mara Jade may no longer be Luke Skywalker's future wife after the reboot, but that doesn't affect her present role as the Emperor's Hand. And even in the likely event that he doesn't appear in Episode VII, I can't think of any method by which Kyle Katarn's training as a Jedi would be contradicted by the film, given Luke's injunction by Yoda to "pass on what [he has] learned."

I believe in all other articles, any 'reprinted' cards (Heat of Battle, Battle of Hoth, etc) are typically shown. When a card is not shown, it is because it is a duplicate. So it should be either a second copy of Mara's saber (unlikely) or a second copy of Rage (most likely).

Very interesting that the box art is good Mara. Could they be giving her fans a double feature? Will we be seeing the two sides racing to get the game's first shared unique character out first?

I think the art looks like Sariss one of the 7 dark jedi. I would think she'd be Sith affiliation, so maybe we'll be getting her in another force pack since we already know the cover art doesn't necessarily match to cards in the pack. I wonder if this means we'll also be getting Gork and Piq cards!

Obviously the last pack of a cycle cannot preview upcoming art since it's the last pack.

Dark Time also "previewed" Navy Vader, which was the in the first pack
