Hey All,
There's a local tourney coming up at which the organizer is making one of the events have a cross-faction requirement - as in at least one Imperial and Rebel ship in your squad.
So, given such an open ended format - what would you field at 100pts?
I'm torn between the new Three Amigos (Wedge, Biggs and Soontir Fel) or that classic buddy team-up of Han and Boba.
I've never thought about using both lists together, though I really want to field my tie bombers since i just got em. Again for those of you who I haven't told I have limited experience playing as imps. Open to suggestions.
3x Scimitar pilots @66pts
-each with a missle or torp
-each with a seismic charge
1x Biggs @33pts
-R2-D2
-Shield upgrade
4 ships, 24 hull/shield, decent alpha strike, use biggs to shield bombers until they get their missiles off. I was going to do something like this before except with biggs and an A-wing alpha..

Would be even better if biggs had an elite trait, could use that extra left over point for determination...

That could work rather nicely. It is a varation on the basic theam of using Biggs to keep everyone else alive longer.

2x Saber Squad, PtL
Sort of a varation on the HSF list, but with Lando and 2 PtL you can take 2 actions with one Tie/In and get no stress, or 3 with stress. Could focus, evade and bost all in the same turn.
Jonus + B-Wings with HLC.

Aha! I hadn't thought to trigger PTL with the free action instead. That opens up a LOT of possibilities...

While you could switch up an ace or two and put in with the other faction my take is the Imperials do offensive support well while as a whole the rebels do raw offense a bit better.

Oh god yes, wedge biggs and soontir. you will never fly a more fun list than those 3, and its probably brutally effective, since fel is generally better than luke

I would definitely want to see Vader riding shotgun to Han. With Biggs keeping the heat off for the early rounds, Han could do a ton of damage.

Every time I attack, before Roark is killed, every ship in my fleet is a level 12 pilot (with Initiative, as it's not 100 points). Howlrunner gives re-rolls to those attacking with primary weapons, and steps in for Roark once he's dead, meaning all will attack as level 8 pilots, with initiative.
