Yes it is the carry case when folded out.

It is 3'x3'

This is a really cool thing, but it isn't entirely clear what it is without further explanation. I'd suggest more photos of the storage aspect -- preferably a shot of the whole thing mid-way between open and closed, so folks "get it" right away. Good luck with these! I'm tempted to order one.
