Dangerous Covenants!
Sweet!
More stuff to remove from my catalogue... oh well. ![]()
No shame in that!
As regards the other two (presumably) species of heavy-hitters, I'd like to see Barabel and (my WEG roots are showing) Coynites.
If aqualish are indeed a species i'd like to see something along the lines of mayber herglic, weequay, whipid or maybe a prequel species such as zabrak is likely.
Now if they do a hutt space book and hapes consortium i'd be happy.
Jegergryte, much admiration and appreciation for your efforts to keep your catalogue up-to-date.
I would love to see Weequay as a species. I think that they and Zabraks would be especially appropriate, and also Togorians.
I wonder if any emphasis will be given to the idea of a "Mandalorian mercenary" for this supplement?
I'd love to see Zabraks and Togorians. Love both of the races.
Truthfully, I would have liked a concrete mention of the new species. As I'm in the process of removing species from the USM that have gotten (or will soon get) official write-ups, knowing which ones that this upcoming sourcebook will cover would be nice, particularly as the next update will be the final one.
I wlll put my vote in for Zabraks, as I think they've been missing from the game for quite some time. Then again, that species could be one of those held in reserve for Force & Destiny, given most of the Zabraks seen on screen have been Force-users (Darth Maul and two Jedi Council masters that looked nearly identical but were two separate individuals).
Since Suns of Fortune as Corellians as a variant Human, I wonder if we'll see Mandos as a variant Human as well.
Here's hoping, Dono. Mandalorians are awesome. ![]()

Rather than removing them, why not put them into an appendix at the end of the document. If the document is unofficial, there's no harm in having an alternate take on the official species too.
They mention Heavies. Assault cannons, please?
Odd choice of name; I would have gone with "Aggressive Negotiations" myself.

No. Hutt professional wrestlers!
i'm waiting for my smuggler book. you guys keep your guns... ;P
So with the inclusion of Aqualish I can finally make the one-armed Tatooine Architect concept.
"Today's the day I get that promotion..."
The hired gun in my group will love this book when it comes out. FFG are keeping up an excellent pace for these releases.
Cool can't wait to get my hands on. I hope that MM will have it up for preorder soon.
I am entirely new to the whole Edge of the Empire Star Wars RPG line, yet I am eagerly awaiting every single announcement of additional juicy products. This one perhaps doesn't sound that much interesting to me as I usually enjoy Colonist more than anything else, yet if there's lore and a stack or two of new equipment, I'm happy.
I suppose FFG will go with this kind of politics - Corebook release -> Specializations advancements, Adventures, Setting stuff.
That I find quite satisfactory, the only problem being that I live in Europe and the shipping fees are rather hilarious.
Where in Europe to do live Varro? I get mine from my local in Scotland, but then again, Esdevium (who stock the UK) have a great relationship with FFG and are able to get product out very easily to game shops and Amazon UK. Do you have any local hobby shops that you would be able to order the product on? I know the FFG website is meant to be pretty expensive for overseas purchases.

I live in Czech Republic (A small country west of Germany, in case you haven't heard about us, which sadly happens), as far as I know, there's only one czech online shop offering EotE (and GM Kit, Beyond the Rim, etc.), quite possibly they'll be able to sell AoR when it it comes out as final product too, although in rather lately fashion. Unfortunately, the prices aren't very student-friendly either, yet I guess it's better than not having the option to buy the books at all.
I knew when they announced the first Occupation handbook that others would follow. But I kinda thought that they would maybe actually release the book before they announced another one.
My wallet is crying. I haven't looked at the AoR beta, but I'll assume that's 6 unique Occupations, and another 6 in FaD. Weep wallet, weep.

I'm American, and because of that I assume that I suck at geography . However, having been to Prague a few years ago, I was fairly certain it's east of Germany. However, being American, I had check Google Maps just to be sure. Unless Google Maps has been hacked (and unless I've been brain-hacked), the Czech Republic still rests east of Germany and south of Poland.
So Heavies then... I would love to see Gamorreans get a write up as a PC!

I wonder if the Heavy is going to essentially imitate the Gunner from AoR Beta.

I also have this concern. As much as I love FFG for giving us, or plan to give us really delicious materials. I foresee myself being tortured by ever unannounced release dates, visiting the website on a daily basis searching for a glimpse of content. Keep those developer diaries coming boys to sate my Star Wars RPG thirst. I will read every one.

I was thinking more along the lines of a heavy being a thug.
Much like the Gamorreans in Jabba's palace....
