How does it work? I just got a A wing and am a bit confused? Do you move as normal then boost 1 (forward or to the side) as an action? or can you still do another action as well?

Boost is an action. So, your first sentence is correct.

Yep, do your movement normally. Proceed to your action. Announce "I'm going to boost," select the 1-straight or either 1-bank (not turn) and execute the boost action. Then you're done unless you have PTL and can take a second action and a stress token.

Just to make sure you know, "PTL" means "Push the Limit", an Elite Pilot Talent that allows you to perform an additional action in your action step, for a stress token. Unless you have this Elite Pilot Talent on the ship that is boosting (or some other source of additional actions), you can only perform 1 action per turn. Since Boost is an action, that would be your one action for the turn.

I think he meant to say PTL (I hope), which is why I didn't call him on it earlier.
