Greetings one and all. I recently had an idea for a fan project that I've begun, though I'm not sure if I'll be able to finish it or not. I recorded readings of the flavor text from the Act I quests of Lair of the Wyrm, and would very much like to do the same with Act II, The Shadow Rune, and Labyrinth of Ruin, but first I want to make sure it's even viable. Because of this, some issues come up:
1) Is there even an audience for this? This is intended mainly for people who want to play as the overlord, but don't want to have to read the story segments aloud; everyone has different talents, and while I like to believe that oration is one of mine, I know that many people hate such things, but this shouldn't be a barrier that stops them from taking the role of overlord.
2) Is this legal? I know that FFG has gone out of their way to make sure that the quest guides are not made public; however, the readings only include the story segments, and include no information about quest setup, monster selection, special rules, or anything else of the like beyond what the story hints at.
3) How do I handle Eliza Farrow, Ariad, and Serena if I continue this project? I can't do female voices very well... I think I do well enough with Valyndra, but that's largely because I don't imagine that dragons would sound very feminine by human standards.
4) How do I upload attachments here? I see the "My Media" button which brings me to a screen where I can view my attachments, but I can't figure out how to actually add them. I'd very much like to give a sampling of what I've done thus far.
