Long time reader, decided I should make an account to post this. The funny thing I find about Netrunner is that there are few promos, no foils, or any silly things like that. So the only way to add some personalized bling is through all the fun other parts.

The action tokens I use were made by a friend. He commissioned some original art for them, which makes them pretty cool. Plus they are made from a high quality substance and even make a nice loud 'click' sound when you flip them over.

He was originally making them for others, but decided a kickstarter was the way to go.

Actually, people create and sell personalize items to be used with games all the time. Playmats, counters, sleeves, etc.

Because the tokens make use of original art, there are no copyright laws being broken.

Those look really good! It's also a great way of representing my favorite factions and identities even when I'm playing my other decks. My jaw literally dropped when I saw the Jinteki one especially considering the space the artist didn't have to work with and the artistic metaphor of the Bonsai being in reality tiny works of art.. It almost makes me wish they were my favorite. Almost. (Jinteki is just mean, great to play in the current tournament structure if you're a good runner tho'.) I'm sold (great video presentation too by the way) but I have a couple of questions first. 1. What happens to my money if I pledge and they don't make their $2,000 goal? 2. Any chance of selling this idea to FFG with enough fan support or having them support it or have they tried that? I've seen posts requesting Resin Id's and the like (even though I have no idea what those are) so there is probably the market for somethng this cool AND that actually improves gameplay right? (Yes, I have lost my place on the click tracker before. More than once actually, I'm new, sue me.) So I really want to support this, I think it's a great idea.
