Player's Introduction:

For over fifty years the hive world of Megiddo has been embroiled in bloody civil war. On this planet overrun by mutants and heretics, only the great hive city of Arx Primoris stands as a beacon of order, orthodoxy, and Imperial authority. The citizens of this decaying world now prepare for a last desperate stand against the enemies of Mankind. But within this time of despair there is a glimmer of hope in the form of a Lord Inquisitor. The citizens of Arx Primoris pause in anticipation and fear, knowing that the mercy of The Inquisition is as harsh as it’s justice.

For those who wonder just what makes up a character in our LARP, what follows is the character sheet we shall be using. A few things will be familiar to Dark Heresy players. Enjoy.

When is this game running at Origins?

The planned date is Friday, the 26th of June at 9pm. The Origins event catalogue has not bee finalized quite yet, so there is a slim chance that the date or time might change. If there is any change it will be posted here as soon as I hear of it.

The event will be using the pre-made characters listed above. However, we are allowing some of our players from past events to request custom characters. So if you were in last years Death & Taxes, Year of The Monkey, or Casino Imperiale, make your request.

We've just heard from Origins, and the time and date for Nox Terminus has been confirmed.

The LARP will be taking place Friday night at 9pm in the Garfield ballroom.

The event number is #2441 for those registering tomorrow.

Probably a good idea to get your ticket early.

From the Origins staff-

Unfortunately, our tech issues are still not resolved. It continues to
be a problem with the software that we use to run events. The company
who supports that software is still working on it, and there's still
not a lot we here at the office can do.

We know that some of you re-arrange work schedules and your private
lives in order to make sure that you get into the events that you want
the minute things go live. So, rather than inconvenience the Origins
fans further with another 24 hour push back, we’re just going to push
to Tuesday, May 12, at noon Eastern Daylight Time (9:00 a.m. PDT).
That gives us several days to fix things and to troubleshoot, and with
any luck at all we’ll have a smooth Go Live day for you on Tuesday.

Thanks to everyone who has written with helpful suggestions, words of
encouragement, and patience. I know you’re all frustrated, and we’re
pretty frustrated ourselves. But the kind words of support remind us
here in the office of why we do all of the work to put on Origins in
the first place, and we can’t thank you enough for that.
