Chinese Boxing

With a better search function, I'm sure I could have found this, but as it is, here is what came up. Does the second part of Chinsese Boxing's ability still apply after the card has been readied by other means? For instance, if my opponent CBs my foundation during his attack, I Shooting Capoera and let the attack do damage readying my foundation committed with CB. Later that same turn I commit my foundation for its ability. Will my foundation not ready because of the second part of the CB ability?

I would say, yes, because it's a separate part of the ability that is not conditional on the first part. Basically, it doesn't say it does not ready "from the effects of this ability" during your opponent's next Ready Step.

Chinese Boxing:

E Commit: Commit 1 of your opponent's foundations. It does not ready during your opponent's next Ready Step.

no. Chinese boxing says it does not ready during the ready step. It can ready by other means.

Program Malfunction however completely locks the card down. It cannot ready by ANY means (unless it leaves play) unless PM is readied/leaves play.

to answer the question: the foundation will stay committed during the ready step if it becomes committed again after being readied.
