Short form terminology

By Davor, in X-Wing

What the hell are people saying? New to X-Wing and I try to read the forums but people keep using short form, I get lost since I have no idea what they mean.

Is there a thread on what is what? One thing I love about DakkaDakka, is you can hover over the short form and it will tell you what it is, in most cases.

So if there is thread or place to go with terminology, can someone make one for me please? :)

Thanks Rodent Mastermind.

Yeah honestly so many get used you may have to ask about specific ones.

WTH?

ORS - Outer Rim Smuggler

Do people actually use the Outer Rim Smuggler enough for it to have a shorthand?

Hmm.....now I have an idea for a squad. Jan ORS.

Jan ORS actually works out pretty well. You can have 2 ORS with Gunner for 32 a piece, a 30 point Jan Ors (with Nien Nunb and Blaster Turret), and 6 points left over for flavour.
