What color is your lightsaber?

By MarthWMaster, in Star Wars: The Card Game

Mine's green.

I like sea-green

Red

I always liked yellow lightsabers.

Blue - and thus I will never win a lightsaber duel, at least not on-screen.

Didn't Obi-Wan beat both Darth Maul and Anakin using his blue lightsaber? I'll admit that he didn't use his blue lightsaber for the whole Maul fight, but for the majority it was blue.

On the other hand, if you completely neglect the episodes 1-3, and who could blame you if you did, then yea blue = screwed on screen.

My color lightsaber is purple.

I'm a fan of the purple. Mace's looked awesome in the films.

Orange

As you say, Obi-Wan had the blue lightsaber for most of the duel, and was getting his ass kicked and being left behind and such. As soon as he picked up his fallen master's green lightsaber though, fight over.

And yeah, Obi-Wan won with blue in Revenge of the Sith, but only against someone who was also wielding blue.

If you don't neglect anything then Blue is pretty nice. (thinking of you, Kyle Katarn)

personally, Green for myself.

Mine would be yellow as well. I really like Ahsoka Tano's second lightsaber.

Mines red. It's Darth Mauls sabre. Eventually gonna get more.

Oh you mean this isn't just what is your favorite lightsaber color? I don't have lightsabers anymore.

I can't help it and must accept the fate that comes with it: Blue lightsaber.

Anakin used a red saber as well as a blue one when he killed Dooku.

Luke was having a vision that Yoda plainly stated he wouldn't need his weapons for.

I agree though, the blue saber is pretty darn classic.

Oh come on - you have to at least acknowledge Blue over Red in Anakin vs Dooku even if he used Red at the very end. He used his blue lightsaber to disarm Dooku then used Blue and Red to behead him (he already had him defeated by then).

I'll give you the vision thing - I just wanted to throw in another Blue victory on screen. lol.

Ya got me there buddy. Hey, I got a question...

Anyone else ever notice that in every Star Wars Lightsaber fight, the good guy only ever wins by using his anger hatred and other emotions that go against the Jedi way?

Examples:

Ep 1. Obi-Wan vs Darth Maul. Only won after seeing his master get a new navel piercing.

Ep 2. No Jedi wins a lightsaber duel.

Ep 3. Anakin defeats Dooku; revenge for shaving his good arm a little too much. Obi-Wan defeats Anakin because he's angry at his former pupil for betraying him and everything they stood for. Also for getting a Senator preggo (that's a scandel right there!) Mace Windu defeats Palpatine before Anakin stops him. Mace Windu is the angriest Jedi ever... so angry he could defeat Palpatine in a lightsaber duel.

Ep 4. No jedi wins a lightsaber duel. Obi-Wan loses on purpose (from a certain point of view.)

Ep 5. No Jedi wins a lightsaber duel. (can't count crazy cave visions)

Ep 6. Luke gets pissed off when Vader speaks about his sister. Beats the holy crap out of him and wins their duel.

That's a good question "harder to answer - meditate on this, I will"

Honestly, I guess that just goes to show just how similar the Sith are to the Jedi and just how easy it can be to succumb to the temptations of the dark side.

The good Jedi realize this before giving in to the ultimate temptation like Luke did in ROTJ when confronted by Palps after defeating Vader.

That's really all I got - emotions are going to come up especially in a lightsaber fight. When you see your master and friend get killed, or when your father threatens your sister - you're going to get upset, and that's ok. You just can't let it dictate your actions and the Jedi are better at doing that then the Sith are.

Yes I know that fear leads to anger, and anger leads to hate, and hate leads to suffering, but lets face it....... we can't all be Yoda.

Yoda was better at teaching anyway. XD

Would want a dual phase like Gantoris made with help from Exar Kun. Multi colored :3

I´ll just throw in that Mace doesn´t defeat the emperor.

Palpatine let´s himself be defeated in order to goat Anakin into striking Mace down for "Betraying the LAAAW" (last part said in best Sylvester Stallone style)

Mind = Blown

This makes Palpatine even more of a genius if that was intentionally

I highly doubt that the dark lord of the sith would intentionally lose like that. He wouldn't have noticed Anakin was coming in that intense lightsaber battle with Windu. To let yourself get disfigured that badly by your own lightning as a ruse? I doubt it. He was going to lose to Windu until Anakin saved him.
