Dear Sirs, real life caught up with me in a big way so I have been away from this forum for some time.

Mark and myself did a cost-analysis some time ago and it would be far too expensive for us to effectively produce this commercially. Meaning we would need to ask too much from you guys for our comfort, so I am afraid this was a one time build...

So... What would it cost?

A friend of mine has his own laser-cutter thingy and when we were doing an X-wing after action report over some beer, we wondered how cool a miniature carrying case in the form of a capital ship hangar-bay would be. Some time later he came up with this Rebel Alliance showcase seen below. An Imperial hangar will follow but we're not sure what shape to choose.

The models are fixed into holes in the floor with their plastic rods.

The paint-job is mine so complaints to yours truly ;-) The finished product will feature some clear-blue acrylic plastic in the, detachable, roof and windows and has a pop-out drawer for tokens etc.

Practical? No. Cool? Absolutely yes. 10/10.
