List with a Lambda

I've seen a lot of posts on how to make a good list with a lambs and have been trying to work out a few lists with the wave 3 ships. I really like the upgrades that come with the shuttle but the only game I played with it I struggled with the dial, I think you have to really plan your moves. Maybe just playing a few games to try to get used to the dial will help.

As the shuttle doesn't move to well I though of having it supported with some interceptors so they can love out of enemy arcs, bring a decent amount of fire power. Also if I can get them behind my opponent then it may force them to turn around which should help the shuttle as it may not have to try to turn 180.

I haven't had chance to play this list yet but I thought I would post it on here to try to get some feedback and maybe someone could try the list for me.

The idea with the shuttle a that it can shuffle forward a 1 or 0 every turn targeting what it can, I like Fire Control system with gunner to make the shuttle quite accurate. If I hit, great I have a target lock for next turn but if not I get a second shot with a target lock. Also as I think the shuttle won't be amazing later game I chose Vader to try to pile on the damage early. Not sure if I'm right but can you use Vader twice with Gunner? The ties will try to fly around enemy ships, get out of arc and use Howlrunner to be more accurate.

I just need to try to give this list a go to see how it plays.

i think the shuttle is rather fragile for an offensive platform... putting too many upgrades on it will just paint a bullseye on it for early destruction. i do like the omicron bcause its so cheap and as long as u dont put too many expensive upgrades on it u should get value from it in a game.

you sqd looks pretty balanced. not sure about the gunner trick w vader. even if u can use it thats 4 hits to ur shuttle. is that worth it? dunno.

I think my reasoning with the Vader/Gunner is that, although I've not played many games with the shuttle, it's kind of difficult for it to be involved in combat late game as it can't turn to face the enemy. If I deal a lot of damage in the first few turns it will hopefully pay for itself or at least get something close to it's cost. Being able to definitely deal 2 points of damage could be worth it if you really need to get the kill, you can fire with your other ships and different threats then hopefully the shuttle will still be alive to deal the 2 damage.

If everyone concentrates on the shuttle they won't be attacking the Ties which isn't a bad thing.

I did try to create a balance list just so I don't pile too many points on one ship. Like you said, if you pile upgrades on a single ship it's going to be a target.

I've still not had the time to try out this list, could go horribly wrong. Obviously, I'm not going to know unless I get to play it.
