Hello everyone. I'm fairly new to this game and I was just wondering if I was able to "chain" cards in this game? For example when I'm activating the effect of "Heavy Blaster Emplacement" can my opponent add a card on to the chain? For instance "Tear the Ship Apart" to discard my "Heavy Blaster Emplacement" before the effect can go off?

. There is no chain or stack in Star Wars.

There are some cards with a bold Interrupt : precursor in their text box, those cards would work like a stack or chain; otherwise, you cannot play cards with Action: precursor in a chain or stack. For different precursors, please read P.24 of the rulebook; for details timing rules, please read the official FAQ document.
