I finally got myself a B-wing. I know, when they attack they are straight up, BUT when ever I remember watching Jedi, the B-wing was always on it's side, and I prefer that the B-wing was on it's side.

I think when I get a 2nd one or 3rd one, I will try and convert it, (most likely break the stem and re glue it, anyone know a good way of doing this?) so it will be on it's side. I just think it looks so much cooler. Wish the cockpit would change as well. Not sure how easy would it be to cut it off and re glue it as well, but a project for later.

So what would you guys prefer?

Finally got a few games now, loving the game.

There's nothing saying they have to attack vertically. The whole point of the layout is that the S-Foils can be repositioned for different maneuvers, while the gyroscopes keep the pilot's perspective stable for ease of control. It's a little odd, but what do you expect when you ask the Verpine build you an assault starfighter. They live in an asteroid field, so the emphasis on lateral maneuverability makes sense.

Here's a guy with a pretty simple B-Wing mod that can rotate fully. Don't know if I'd go that far myself, but I definitely plan to repose them.

I added magnets to the back of one of mine, I'm not sure I can be bothered enough to change the cockpit though. I'll probably get around to putting magnets on the back of my second one too at some point. It's quite cool to be able to spin them around

I think I will have to try it with magnets. Thanks guys. Now just have to another B-wing. Want to keep one at leas as an original.

I converted mine sideways and adjust the cockpit , it looks sweet. I plan to get four and have them all at different angles.

In Return of the Jedi, B-Wings appear vertically most of the time. I mean, in the weird up-down axis that is established by the fleet. Whatever. I still think they look better horizontally. It's an easy conversion so I'm doing it to all of mine.
