As for Dericote I could see it but I'm not sure what kind of ability he would have.
No idea who the pilots will be, but I am anticipating there will be someone with an ability to distribute evade tokens somehow. That's my guess anyway

Minor point but they look like PS5 & PS7 to me. Which would make the set contain unique pilots with PS 5, 6, 7 & 8, which does seem likely.

Dont they usually put lower pilot skills on the left though? The 181st pilot on the left is definitely a 7 so that would mean they broke the pattern.

Wait, but Derricote commanded the 181st when it was the worst. And did we ever see him in a fighter? He can't be one of our elite pilots! I almost wonder if they'll just make up somebody or take a character from Galaxies that no one's heard of, like our buddy kath Scarlett.. Wookipedia also says Marek Steele joined up, so maybe we'll get our first alternate-ship pilot. They've done it between crew and pilot and it is a shame to see him wasting away in that advanced.
Edited by PenguinBonaparteAs others have said, I can't see either of these characters being the pilots in the new expansion. Derricote isn't a pilot, Yage isn't born in the Rebellion era in which FFG have set the game.
As stated my predictions not stone. But by all means list other 181st named pilots that they could be. Cause we all know FFG will use established characters, not make some up. So let us discuss oher options.

Looks like they just separated the Royal Guard pilots and the Saber Squadron pilots rather than mixing them together in order by pilot skill
Derricote did pilot an interceptor in a couple battles and racked up a decent kill count in the few he participated in. I think he could be on of the two pilots thought I'm not sure he will be.
Tetran Cowall could be a significant option, he lead a false-181st in the service of Warlord Zsinj pretending to be Baron Fel.
Tetran would be a good choice. I knew Derricote did pilot a fighter with a good kill amount, that is why I thought he could be the 8 PS as he was a former leader of the 181st. Glad to see another knows there EU canon.

Lol, wookiepedia is also a wonderful thing. I mean I spend a lot of time researching the EU so I knew both Derricote and Yage when you initially posted but I unfortunately have never had the opportunity to actually read the media they appear in.
I'm not sure Derricote would be a PS8 though. I guess it depends on what kind of ability he is given. If its a leadership style ability (which I don't think so) then I would expect a PS8, but I am more expecting PS7 and some sort of personal pilot ability.
