Looking for Game

By cadamec, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

Hi,

I am a player looking for a game. Located in the Central US. I am assuming that any game will most likely be played online, but if anyone in the Milwaukee area is looking for a player, let me know.

Thanks!

Thanks for the response. LOL, unfortunately I am SBVDog! But hopefully we will get some more people,

Also don't forget to post to the following places (where there is major volume):
rpg.net

enworld.org

paizo.com

wizards.com (yes, this is D&D players, but you can find players here)

Meetup-com (more if you're looking for local players)

Best,

Ha! I thought as much. If anyone is interested I'll GM a game if I can get three of you. I only use maptools though btw, No FG2.

Thanks for the responses so far.

Emirikol, I checked out the sites you mentioned. I have been familiar with most of them, but in terms of WFRP, they don't seem particularly helpful. Paizo's site features mostly anti 3rd ed screed and I was not able to really find any WFRP communities on the other sites. I have already posted to my local meet up group, which is mostly Pathfinder (I also play that), and didn't get any responses that any games were being run. I might just end up volunteering to GM a game and see if I can wrangle up players.

My offer (request?) to play in an online game still stands, though, if anyone is looking for another player.

Thanks!

Well we got two yes. Crazy Aido has volunteered. One more person and I will run something for you cadamec (or you could GM if you want, I don't care). Who's up for it? You'll need Skype and maptools. Who is interested?

We have a third now cadamec. Pressure's on, are you still game?

I've had the best luck when I just offer to run something. Then I check out the players and pressure one of them into stepping up to get a break periodically. It's win-win. The reason I mention those non-WFRP sites is having more exposure is necessary. Most people don't check discussion groups all that often, so having it up in multiple sites just gets you more exposure.

Yes. I guess now we need to find a time slot. I am in CST and weeknight evenings or weekends work for me.

Sorted. All further discussion and organising will be on the ffgvirtualpage so we don't have to look up two topics. See you there.

Online games are also an option. I am currently learning Fantasy Grounds and want to set up games - there may be a free spot or two;-)

This is an online game brother. I'd be down for playing in one of your game. I'm a bit of a fan actually, sweet marrow is king.

Cheers mate. I'll need to practice using FG2 and collect all the libraries I need - but it could be awesome to run a community game once in a while. I haven't even run sweet marrow myself yet. Listened to it over at reckless dice podcast tho. I just wanted to try out the one page adventure format as I usually detail my work a lot It's a great way to throw in something "random" that still has some idea behind it :-)
