New to the game, so far a small group of friends (4 including myself) who are new to the game, and looking for anyone else who plays within the area.

I'm around Leeds area, I have only just bought this game and looking to start to get some regular play in as it looks like a great game.

Need a nice friendly pub with big tables
In the city centre, the Hedley Verity is a decent Wetherspoons with a few quiet areas around the back, both downstairs and upstairs. I've played numerous card and board games there in the past.

the name rings a bell but i cant quite figure where it is. know its a long as way from traveling man but thats about it.
Yeah, it's sort of behind the museum, opposite the big Morrisons. It's maybe 10 minutes walk from Travelling Man.
Of course, Travelling Man have their games room as well, but I don't know if there'd be enough interest for them to open it up just for this. We could try going to one of their regular board game nights anyway, but I can never remember when they are, and Tuesdays and Thursdays are bad for me.
Well i know NR gets them a bit of coin so we could ask them if they and any events planned. But failing that hedley will proberly suffice.
There's also the Leeds Meeples boardgame group, who regularly have meetups with space for games. They're next meeting is on the 10th of November, but I can't make that one. Anyone who goes might be able to find someone interested in a game or two, though.
if i wasnt busy on the 10th for my ti3 prep for 2days of win i'de go there :/
but we may have to keep an eye on them. failing that something at the start of december maybe?
the start of December is good for me. I'll be busy with the film festival until the 21st November.
I noticed the meeples guys have a meeting on the 1st December at the Victoria Hotel, so that might be a good place to initially meet and start planning things.

I’ve just stumbled across this thread whilst trying to find if there is already a Netrunner scene in Leeds as me and a friend have just started playing. As it happens we’re both regular Leeds Meeples attendees, and I help run the occasional event, so hopefully between us we can get something started! Leeds Meeples get private use of one or both of the rooms at Victoria Hotel in town so it’s a great space for gaming.
Meeples is run on one Sunday every month, and usually we get a Monday night in each month as well. The next Monday night we’re hoping to run is Mon 18 th , we’re booking it in with the pub this weekend.
If you can make it this Sunday, come in and ask for Dan!

We are definitely running Leeds Meeples at Victoria Hotel Mon 18th Nov from 6.15, and there's no charge. We'll be in the room at the back of the pub, behind the bar. It is specifically a board game group, so I'm thinking of starting a separate Leeds Netrunner group with a friend once we've got the hang of the game proper. It could potentially also be at the Victoria, but we will need at least 10-15 regulars to get one of the rooms there, because they hire them out for free.
Well i defo would back a leeds NR group, but if you ever want to run some play tests on deck builds or consepts I can help

On the 10th im heading to huddersfield for some games at pratriot games. Players in leeds get over there should be a good dat.

A friend and I are starting a Netrunner group for Leeds and are having our first meetup this Monday 3rd March!
It will be at Veritas on Great George St in Leeds city centre - we've got a private room with tables at the back, on the left hand side of the bar. Starting at 6.30 and playing for as long as people are still there.
All players of all abilities welcome - if you know the rules and have a deck, come along.
The aim is to turn this into a regular meetup, so we'll post back with more updates, or you can follow the group on twitter.com/leedsnetrunner
