I got soul calibur 3 a few days ago and I've just discovered FFG has the rights to Lizardman!

no, I don't mean that fake that there's already atleast five cards of, I mean the real lizardman! the kick butt SC2 style lizardman!

how is this covered under the current licence you ask? simple, SC2 lizardman appears under the name Lizard Men in Tales of Souls mode as the challenge battle for Yoshimitsu.

sure, this might not seem like much but it was enough to get Miser (Cervantes's opponent) a card so why not Lizardman?

other characters who appear this way include Charade from SC2 (Talim) and Hwang from Soul Blade (Zasalamel).

Except that they don't unless otherwise specified.

Also their license has changed from the SC3 license to the SC4 license, so Tales of Souls wouldn't be applicable here.

speaking of lizardman I'm hoping that they give him a stance card "crawling" so that all his attacks could be low zone and then other abilities.

We'll have ot wait abit. Looks like he wasn't isn't slated for this next SCIV set. But yeah some stance action would be hot... maybe...

OK my opinion on stanes. It just feels like many foundations pretyt much ARE stances you know? Ken's Shotokan? etc...

HOWEVER, i think it'd be great to see more keywords on foundaitons. I mean they're on attacks, ya know, it'd be good to see some on more foundations (aside from breaker or desperation yeah?).

Speaking of Lizardman...

anybody else wanna guess one of the 2 cards joining MAC and Mark is Awakening? If anything else, it's probably THE most asked for card next to Roam the World.

Well they're supposed to represent training... so I guess sort of. There were a lot of older assets that actually had the 'Stance' keyword. I think those more accurately represented a stance since they were usually costless or 'until end of turn' effects.

As far as cool stuff to do with stances... Why do none of the versions of Gen incorporate his awesome style of switching between stances. I'd love to see one of him like the new Revenant where he has separate abilities if he's ready or commited.

I would not mind Grim Stride. Seeing as how another Nightmare is being released, hopefully that is the case.

If there's one thing lizardman needs it's good old SC2 style tail attacks. that never gets old!
