X-Wing League Night at Madness - Plano, TX
I'm going to head there now. The roads are better and my other event ended early.
I should be there this Friday, might be bringing a friend who doesn't have any X-Wing stuff (yet).
I won't be making it this Friday I have some plans that night. But if anyone goes in Saturday or Sunday let me know I may be free then.
I should be there Friday as normal. I'll bring my fleet, so if your friend needs to borrow some ships we can make sure he's set.

It's only crazy if it doesn't work. Looks like my luck finally improved! I brought my dice tray and my rolls were markedly improved (only had 1 or 2 cases of misfires or no evades).
Fitz, I played your bomber list against a Han Shoots First list and it was a blast. First pass, rookie X down. In 3-4 more turns, I took out the falcon. Madness closed so we had to stop early (only played for about 45 minutes), but I only lost 1 bomber. That alpha strike is deadly.
I also played Matt with the Biggs Walks the Dogs list against a TIE swarm list. I played much better than I have historically but had trouble keeping Biggs in the right place because he moved last and I couldn't do it right. I might try Matt's suggestion of switching to Red Xs instead.
Good to hear s1n! I knew your luck had to change sooner or later. And yeah that bomber list has done pretty well for me. I love the Bombers and am glad it worked out for you.
Btw I will be able to make it there this coming Friday same as if now. But after this week I will be out of town for two weeks so won't be able to make it till after the new year.
If the baby isn't here by Friday, I might be able to make it then, otherwise, Merry Christmas / Happy Holidays to everyone. Fly casual.
