Help with block 3 Fei long deck

By Prestonian8, in UFS Deck Building

Here is a deck that I made having either some of the cards already or just ordered them. I just started playing UFS about a month ago and I am still unsure about my deck building skills lol. I am basing this deck around air. I would add maybe a few more assets like olcadan's mentoring but I can't seem to get my hands on any. I was thinking about side decking the new warrior's dream chun li if I ever got my hands on some Hoyoko-sens since there is so much momentum generation because of the foundations. Any ideas or suggestions would be super helpful.

I think you have a good start here...i would cut how many attacks you run down to 12 - 16 (16 being the absolute most, maybe 14 being the cool compromise). Focus on running 3 sets 4-ofs, and make sure your attacks have some tech with one set being an absolute Kill card: Feline Spike comes to mind. Tag Along should be a 4-of as that potentially shuts down your opponent's character card, as well as allowing you to recur cards from your discard pile.

Ira Spinta is definitely a powerful card.

Off Air I think that Kabuki Artist is a stronger recursion card than Tag Along, but I agree. It does need some method of recurring those Spintas to make sure that the person sitting across from the deck leaves a good-sized head-print in the table.

Shooting Capoera is great if you have them. Wind Dance and British Subjects might be cards to look at as well.

Kabuki Artist is fantastic, esp if you combo it with Lord of the Makai you can veritably pick and choose which card type you search your discard pile for.

Here's an idea that has worked best with Fei thus far: Play small attacks - and LOTS of them on your turn, so that you can build Fei Tokens to draw cards on your opponent's turn. The plan is to be able to draw 3 - 4 cards via Fei's character ability so as to draw into the obiquitos Feline Spike and end your opponent on their turn.

Oh, and i recommend that nearly all your attacks have the Reversal descriptor so that you can throw back during every Combat Phase and continue to build Fei tokens.
