Product Production Requests - Please Make This FFG!

I would like to see a three-fold hardboard player board. It doubles as a place to roll dice, but it's primary purpose is a player reference chart similar to the GM screen. It would have a lust of every skill and a quick description of how Triumphs, Successes, Advantages, Despair, Failures, and Threats can be spent. It would also have a better combat reference section than the GM screen for dice result options. This would speed up play tremendously in the games I GM.

I'd love to see some equipment splatbooks, ala Cyberpunk 2020's Chrome Books - just a little extra spice for those that like things spicy.

Same could be said for vehicles!

@plainolewhitey:

One solution I've seen but not implemented is hanging the charts requested on the back of the GM's screen, facing players. I have my screen off to the side so I haven't tried it, but with the right font size, it could be brilliant. There's some great documents in the player created content thread.

More books like the Corellia one coming out... on second thought... no.. no more books. My wallet can't handle it. :(

I want to see another location book covering Hutt Space like the coming one for the Corellian Sector. Throw in Hutt servant races (Weequay, Nikto, etc.), Hutt yachts, info on Hutt-controlled worlds, and all sorts of other stuff.

Good idea themensh, I'll try it!

PDF versions of everything. Get with a Disney and make it happen, you are losing money by not offering it because there are already scanned PDFs out in the holonet hat you didn't make money on.

*Rises to the bait*

You do realize those that the majority of those who downloaded the scans wouldn't have bought the book anyway no matter if it was offered for 5$ as a PDF? At a guess the minority of those who downloaded the scans already bought the hardcopy.

In summary FFG probably won't make much more selling them as PDFs especially if you look at the legal costs of just "making it happen". There would be license rewrites, payoffs at game publishing companies like Bioware/EA in order to buy back the rights to making the PDF, and a lot of court time as someone tries to sue.

Maybe when those licenses all revert back to Disney after they expire they can do the legal paperwork to change it up at very little cost, but before that FFG is saving money by not contesting it.

x2 about the Hutt Space one. It just makes perfect sense for Edge of the Empire to have a book dedicated to the Hutts.

A forum for product requests of all types.

And in regards to having more subforums... I would prefer them to be geared toward the game instead of wasting space for people's fantasies about what they would like to see FFG publish. I think wishlist threads are the best route.

In my honest opinion. I would rather see subforums dedicated to player created content, game mechanical questions and home rules, and the Star Wars universe itself. I've just had a lot of trouble searching the general forum for specific threads that I think some more subforums would help alleviate the congestion. Lets face it, the Specialization sub-forum appears to be a complete failure at this point with just 4 topics. Below is my proposition for subforums that I think would be more useful:

Proposed Sub-Forums

1) Player Created Content - Adventures, Maps, Player-Aids, Guides, character creation, and etc. could all go here. We already have a thread going but I think this could help put all of the work the community does, into one spot.

2) The Galaxy - Here, people can discuss the galaxy itself and its innerworkings, fleshing out species, regions, planets, architecture, politics, economics, and more. Here newcomers and grogs and meet, ask questions, find answers, and debate about the nuiances that exist in the rich Star Wars universe.

3) Mechanical Issues - This is all about how the game's mechanics function. House rules, answers about how checks, shooting, flying, dodging, talking, and whatever else is possible with the system can all go here. There are already enough people asking and discussing the game's mechancis that I think a sub-forum completely dedicated to that subject matter makes complete sense to me.

For my own fantasy, I would like to see a giant supplement on the Empire that is functional for all three games. It details how it functions both militaryily and administratively and goes into decent enough detail about the various branches of each. It provides players and GM's more detailed material that they can use in their games if they wish to interact with the Empire. I would also think it would be cool if it had an adventure that was pro-Imperial.

This.

I'd also like to see a book focused on Imperial options (for players and GM alike), setting books with NPCs, location details and plot hooks, sourcebooks with equipment and careers, etc.

I'd like supplements covering stuff that I couldn't just make myself by spending 2 minutes reading wookipedia or any of the other generic sources for Star Wars lore.

Personally I'd love to the EotE equivalent of the Tramp Freighters supplement for WEG D6: Trading rules (speculative and cargo-runs), more ship modifications, small freighters with floor-plans and a description of an area in which to ply your trade.

A races book. For use with both PC's as well as NPC's. Not having all options spread over multiple books would really make my day!

My wish is small, I think. I wish the dice app would read the results aloud.

Once upon a time I wished to see the dice app for the WP8 platform. That's still on the list!

Map book for ships and bases and cities.

Yes to both of these. And, to add info for the Tramp Freighter book, maybe some official ideas on repair, refuel and docking costs, as well as payouts on standard jobs. I'd particularly like to see an ongoing catalog on Starships (especially if it were mocked up like a real catalog with maps and everything).

I think someone mentioned that we shouldn't expect this, as that's how they sell books.

A book like the Imperial Sourcebook from WEG would also be nice, as would a Corporate Sector Guide and a "Spacer's Guide to The Wheel." ;)

What if they did a set of "location" sourcebooks that covered each of the major hyperspace trade routes and the worlds along them?

Make Pawns please!

Some of those books would be really thick.

That depends on how much detail you want in each of them. If each covered 12 worlds in some detail (3-5 pages each) and another 20 worlds in less detail (one page each) you're up to 68 pages. Now throw in a few more species and a few pieces of gear (including vehicles/starships) and we're likely still under 96 pages.

Make Pawns please!

A big box of tokens like the ones from the Beginner Box would be great.

More deck plans for ships like the Krayyt Fang from the Beginner Game!

Not necessary a product, but something to consider including in the Force & Destiny book: careers and specialisations for Force using traditions outside of the Jedi - such as the Sith. :)

I would like to see a mega-adventure trilogy:

Episode 4.5 - EotE adventure.

Episode 5.5 - AoR adventure.

Episode 6.5 - FaD adventure.

Each episode could be played separately with different cast or as a ongoing trilogy.

Along this same lines, a huge adventure that could potentially span all three sources. What you suggest could very well be that.
