$465 for all my miniatures. Dang, I didn't think I spent that much money until I just added it up. But I think it's definitely worth it!

Probably spent an additional ~$80 on paints and materials for my gameboard and repaints.

I don't want to think about how much I spent in a game, I prefer to think how many fun it gives to me, and this game is begining to give me a lot of hours of fun and some good friends, greettings.

Based on what's in my signature, not as much as I thought on ships... about $400 (I won one of the Firesprays and A-Wings, and got a really good deal on some of them on Amazon last year).

But, I probably spent another $100 on cases, a mat, entry fees, and some FFG shield tokens I bought on eBay.

Now that I'm going to worlds, I'll have to add several hundred dollars to this to cover airfare, hotel, and food for that event.

Based on your set, it looks like you're only into Rebels. Unfortunately, you miss out on a lot of good upgrade cards by not purchasing the Imperials. Hate to say it, but FFG really knows how to put a game together by getting people to buy at least 1 of each product.

I also have lots of stuff already, funny thing is that I started for free, the first box set I got it as a prize for a W40K tournament (funny how things turned out). Anyway, I see it more as entertainment time/cost relation and when I compare it with something like Movies, X-Wing wins every time, let’s put it in numbers.

That’s $30 bucks for 2-3 hours of fun going alone and that’s it

For those same $30 I can buy two expansion sets, that I’ll use maybe in 20~30 games let’s say 1 hour each

Don’t get me wrong I love going to the movies and will keep going, but X-Wing is not even close to the top of the entertainment costs

When I go to the movies its always a 2D matinee and I never eat at the theatre. Saves a lot of money.
