New To UFS (looking to build a Fei Long Or/and a Ryu deck)

By One-Two, in UFS Deck Building

So as the Topic says im pretty new to UFS, I'm looking to build a solid deck around Ryu, and one around Fei Long.

As for the Ryu deck the character cards i have for him are,

[x1]-Ryu- [All, Order, Void] R Commit: After you block an attack draw 2 cards, E. Commit 1 foundation Your Opponent commits 1 of their foundations.

[x1]--Ryu-- [All, Void, Water] E. Commit 1 foundation, If your attack deals damage you gain 1 vitality. R. After you fail an attempt to play a block, draw 1 card

[x1]-::::Ryu::::- [All, Good, Void] E Commit Once per turn draw X cards, E. Add X cards from any players discard pile to the bottom of that players deck in any order. X equals your Momentum

Any suggestions on how to play the deck or on certian cards i should be looking for?

As For Fei Long, I'm looking for a deck that allows to me take advantage of his ability and some of his cards abilitys, So basicly I want to keep clearing my card pool and keep attacking.

The Fei Long I have is,

::Fei Long:: [Wind, All, Life] F Commit, discard 2 momentum: Discard all attacks with a printed damage of 3 or less from your card pool. R After your attack with 3 damage or less, place 1 fei long token on this character. R Remove X Fei Long tokens from this character. After your opponent's Draw step, draw X cards. Playable while committed.

I'm looking for cards that would maybe un-commit my foundations, Up my attack speed, Allows me to draw more cards, Also any cards you think would work in a deck like this. (I would really like to get this deck up and playing)

Thanks.

for Ryu if you want to play him in the current format you'll need to play the last one you listed. (the others are older and from the previous blocks) As for what to do with him or how to run him....I personally like void. You can get some of Jivatma's support cards for discard and damage buffs and then use Ryu's ablity to refill you own hand. It's direct and surprisingly effective. Void is also the cheapest build of the three symbols he has, All and Good both have alot of chase rares and super rares that will cost you a small fortune.

As for Fei...I got nothing. I've never ran him but I would build him off air. Airs really good aggro atm.

hopes this helps and welcome to the game.

Hmmm...Seriously, build 9.Ryu off All/Good...he's really solid! All has shennanigans such as Lord of the Makai, Tira's Contract, and Blood Runs True, as well as Ryu's finisher Shin Shoryuken. Good has a plethora of key support cards, such as Destiny and Red Lotus of the Sun.

4.Fei Long...please understand that i'm a HUGE Fei Long fan. That said, i've tried about 4 or 5 different builds with this version of Fei, and he's...terrible! Seriously, he ends up being a 7/20 character with virtually unusable abilities (they're too situational). If you're wanting to build a character that has inbuilt card-draw off Air, build 3.Terry; he's a BEAST!!! Saddens me to say that, but the truth is the truth. sad.gif

Thanks guys this will help in the building of my Ryu deck. As for Fei his deck's a work in progress I dont have enough small damaging attacks/reversals yet to make him any good.

well if you want a Ryu off the All/Good/Void version here's an idea i got randomly. it was supposed to be a loop that just keeps going but it turns out it can kill/exhaust the opponent MILL FTW. anyway here's the list

Ryu

Wicked Chew 5/3
Wind Storm 4/3
Naruto 5/3
Overhead Crash 4/3

Homerun 2/4
One-sided crush 1/5
Master to his knees 4/6

Financial Distress 2/4
Lone Wolf 2/6
Rindokan 3/4
Antisocial 2/5

White Magic 1/5
Seeking a Challenge 1/5
Destiny 2/5
N-Type Human 1/5
Red Lotus 2/5
Wind Dance 2/4

Basic idea is build 5 momentum and then hit with Wicked Chew for the check bonus. then use reversals and seeking a challenge + Ryu's recycling E to keep going while using draw abilities off the attacks or homerun. may be a lot of rares but it is fun.

oops forgot to mention that its 4 of each card on list and 1 Ryu.
