Anyone have any ideas on what ships could be released for rebels? I mean there's already an x, y, a, and b-wing out so.....
New wave 4 rebel ships?
YT-2400 and Z-95 headhunter.

agree on the z-95, a cheaper version of the x wing.
Probably the Tie Defender.
Hopefully we'll see some new items. Perhaps card only packs alongsidea few ships.
sell card packs that have one of each card would be nice maybe make em have packs for each wave. one for wave one only cards and wave 2 only cards
YT-2400 and Z-95 for the Rebels are pretty certain I would say. I would like to see the K wing (ordered a custom one just in case). Arc-170 is pretty likely too if they back a little.
Eta/Eta2 for both or either faction.
Imperials should get more ties... Predator, Aggressor (Tie with a rear firing arc!), Defender, Droid, Phantom (in that order for me!). Fanwing would be awesome as well and there are a ton of droid fighters from EU stuff. Starvipers?
I want to see bi-factional units, a rebel firespray expansion, or what the other guys are saying.
I'm holding out for Z-95, E-Wing, TIE Defender, and a Skipray. In lieu of an E-wing, the YT-2400 seems all but certain, but I'd prefer a YT-2000.
What would really surprise me is a
That, or a really powerful fighter like the TIE Defender.
EDIT: I'm sorry, I forgot this topic was for rebel starships.
Z-95 and E-wing would be fantastic. The E-wing would be like a quicker Y-wing, without a blaster turret and a blaster cannon instead. It would not have the firepower of a B-wing, but it wouldn't have the turret of a Y-wing, and it'd be quicker, but likely more fragile than both, Comparable to an X-wing in terms of stats, likely with higher shields but lower firepower.
Attack: 2
Maneuverability: 2
Armor: 3
Shields: 3
More durable than an X-wing shield wise, because it's generally a more advanced starfighter, but less firepower. This can be made up for with the Blaster Cannon, which could be ion, heavy, or whatever blaster cannon cards you may have. It can carry 12 proton torpedoes, however giving it two slots may be overkill, and this ends up making the B-wing look less attractive, due to the fact it'd end up looking like a slower E-wing, so give it one torpedo slot so it doesn't fill the B-wing's heavy-fighter niche (Even though the E-wing was a much better replacement for the Y-wing than the X-wing).
So, blaster cannon due to the top cannon, proton torpedo slot, and an Astromech. Note, the astromech would be an interesting option. The E-wing would have to come with the R7 astromech card, which could not be used on other fighters without another card, a modification card, that takes the relevant astromech and allows it to be used on other fighters. This makes the R7 expensive but worthwhile. But what ability could it have that makes it so?
I'm thinking one of two things
Action: Discard one face up damage card with the ship attribute without resolving its effect
Action: This round, remove an ion token assigned to your ship
Those are both worthwhile investments that I'm fairly certain are not in the game yet.
Another modification card, this one is speculative.
Modification: You may use any astromech on this fighter.
This counts for the other fighters as well and allows the use of the R7 on others, or the normal ones on an E-wing. It'd be an interesting first for The Rebellion.
Finally, I imagine it'd have a slighty better-than-X-Wing dial and I'd love to see it barrel roll, but that's extremely unlikely. Likewise, this fighter must be more expensive than an X-wing. No doubt in my mind. Not drastically so, but it ought to be.
Edited by Captain LackwitEach wave so far, the card art has had a spoiler for a ship in the next wave. Wave 1 had the falcon on the swarm tactics card. Wave 2 had a tie bomber on the assault missiles card. I've seen it said somewhere, but I don't remember what it is. Roark Garnet's card has some ship on it, like a pirate ship or something. I think that's as close as we get to a spoiler for a wave 4 ship.
The thread on bgg has been revived, so it's a Kihraxz assault fighter.

Edited by hothieAs a collector, I'd like to see the YT-2000, YT-2400, or YKL-37R Nova Courier (my personal favorite). In terms of game play they aren't really needed, they mostly add visual variety. Some say the rebels don't need more ships with turrets but you can't have more than 2 of these class of ships in a squad anyway.
For fighters, the Z-95 seems most likely. Later maybe the ARC-170 which would have the same firing arc as a Firespray, not a full 360 turret.
The rules I've seen for the YT-2400 have it lighter in hit points and shields, a front 180 arc rather than a full 360, and a barrel roll. The people that have played is say it feels very different to the Falcon.
I love the look of the YT-2400, so I would love to see it added to the game.
I would like to see additional factions. Chiss Empire would bring a Thrawn crew card into the game.
I would like shoot naboo fighters and trade federation star fighters. I would not like to buy them. I would like to shoot them, watching them implode in space.
Well I think we already saw a preview for some of Wave 4. The Imperial Aces. With Wave 3 out I pretty much have all the different ships I wanted to see them come out with. I really like the idea of wave 4 being repaints with new pilots and new upgrades.
I hope they do the same thing with the Rebels. I would really like to see Rouge Squadron ships. Maybe even a Rouge Squadron Title upgrade.
I have to confess that I don't really want to see too many EU ships. I think it delutes the Star Wars feel of the game. Even the Fire Spray and the HWK feel a little out of place in Star Wars space battle fields.

Well, the firespray's hardly EU. The Crow, yes. Out of place, I have to disagree.
Personally I'm a big EU fan, when it's good EU. So I'd like to see more EU ships, otherwise we're just gonna' see a bunch of repaints and end up with a bunch of the same ships and while there'd be a ton of cards, I'd prefer variety of vessels to variety of pilots. Especially considering each one comes with four pilot cards.
There is a V-wing on one of the wave four cards.
- ETA-2
- YT-2K
- R-41 Starchaser
- ARC-170
- Delta 7
- GAT 12h Skipray Blastboat
- Action IV Transport
- DP-20c Gunship
- Tartan Patrol Cruiser
So most of the Empire small ships are already out so the last two on my list are to counter the Corellian Corvette and the GR-75 that are being released for the Rebels.
Not going to lie here, all the ships I want to play with are already released (not including the reprints or capital ships). All the rest of the new fighters are just going to be targets for my rebel and imp wave 1-3 squadrons. I mean there are a few i might be looking forward to seeing.. tie defender, tie scout, z-95 but thats about it.
I sure hope they release new factions.. trade, sith, old republic.. more targets! If ffg plans on keeping pace they might have to after another year or two.
Looking at the LCG, you can see that FFG does like the obscure stuff. Seriously, they made a card out of a vehicle that was only a toy. And a rather silly one at that.
Honestly, I think they went with the lesser know Moldy Crow to test the waters and to prepare the factory for Wave 4. There are plenty of more know EU ships that could've filled that spot, but better to test a quarter of a wave, than to go blind on a whole wave. And they are going to produce non-wave products. I'm sure we will get plenty of repaint packs and big ships.
We all know that to keep a game going, you need to keep releasing expansions. So I think EU ships are pretty much inevitable, I am just not super excited about them.
As per my previous post I know that Slave I is about as canonical as you can get in Star Wars, but I just don't see firesprays paying a huge part in the galactic civil war.

Well, no. They couldn't have, considering that originally they were prison transport ships produced by the not-so-long-after-discontinued Kuat Systems Engineering (Different from KDY, a branch of it.) and that a majority of Firesprays were destroyed on Oovo IV. There were some made after that but they were extremely rare ships with an almost legendary reputation. Fett having the most well known one.

Which is why they will likely still have products to appeal to people like you. They just won't be the full 4 ship wave.

I'm curious as to what precisely you mean by people like me, but on a more important note, I can't see how they can maintain 4-ship waves.
I believe it was said they had over 30 ships planned from the beginning.
The damaged ship tokens that came with the Lambda have an imperial customs ship on it. It was a small capital ship used to thwart smuggling, The Light Corvette...
