The EPT and Droid ones are on the site now. Adam and I are working on iterations of the others. Just swamped with day job. I think the weirdness on the focus actually comes from the eye itself. The redrawn one looks a lot better.

I love the one with the eye and the rays coming off the eye! the other one looks ok but looks like puffy eyelids lol. sorry

and Instead of the shield in the middle could you maybe make half with a rebel logo and half with an imperial logo? that would make it much more dynamic for in game play and be so freakin cool.

the Ion token is amazing!!! can't wait to see the target locks. you may have me ordering a unck of tokens lol. too bad he cant personalize the movement templates. darth vaders quote " Now I am the master" just begs to be put on a set of red templates lol.

While I like really the idea of the Rebel/Imperial logo, there is some worry about trademark, so I don't think the Rebel Logo/Imperial logo is going to be an option. The Droid is pushing it as is, but at least that's not a trademark. That and at that size, I don't think enough detail would show to really make it worth while. There is a lot of detail in both those logos.

Like the shield - I'd like to see a couple versions with different stuff in the middle (Xwing silhouette, something) for comparison

I don't know what it is about the focus but it still kind of weirds me out. The circles around it make it look like it's peering at me through a keyhole or something. I don't know, this is a weird criticism, but it looks too MUCH like an eye. Not sure what else you could do with it - maybe reverse the dark and light parts? I'd just love to see something a little more bold and abstract like the Ion token, but not sure what you can do with an eye. Maybe a triangle around it? Instead of a circle - sort of Illuminati style. Just spitballing.

Anyway love the ion. Huge step up. Like the shield but not 100% sold - love to see a couple things in the middle just to compare. And I don't know, the eye still kind of wiggs me out. Maybe that's just me but I think putting some other shape around it or something might work.

Yeah I hear you, I can see that. I do think with the shield you could get away with something that was super simplified - almost like a trident with a longer middle prong - just the suggestion of a starfighter.

You xould add another arc on each side alternating the spacing on each ring of arcs then just put an x in the middle.for the shield.simple and elegant and different. Just a suggestion tho.

I just wish I could think of something really cool to suggest. I'm not sure how to give the eyeball a bit of flair like the Ion token has.

The rays provide the flair the eye should be simple. And the white dot makes me feel like i am being watched back. Lol however i am really thankful to have the opportunity to give feed back. I want to buy something that adds flair style and elegance to the game. Something i can look at for a long time and be happy with as i play the game. Also the wow factor to my lgs when i use the best quality tokens out there. And these designs are shaping up to be the best on the market as long as the right color of acryllic is used on each marker.

I agree on color, though, Litko's stress tokens are yellow and it drives me nuts.

Well wookie i see your point. But i still like the rays it is like it is focused. Fewer rays then? And i hate the colors of those stress tokens on litko too. But i ordered them anyway but will gladly toss them for better ones here. I also did like your eye sugestion. With the manga style but keep it simple make it easy to make.

No rush I think we're all just REALLY excited about the prospect of having some small measure of input into the design process.

Most awesomely put there wookie!! being able to give feed ack in the design process of a game I absolutely love to play, (even though I lose a lot.) makes me all giddy inside and if the quality wasn't there I would have just skipped this thread altogether. now being involved with these designs has me even more invested in the x-wing game I cannot wait to see the final product in my hands and on the gaming table.

You need to host it somewhere. Take a look at flickr.com for easy free image hosting. Tis what I use. It's also easy to embed flickr images in the forums.

I like the staggered broken circles and you could still put a shield or an x-wing outline in it if you wanted to. i just put a generic item in there since i am not an artist lol. ms paint helped me make the circles. let me know what you all think.
