I'm currently recruiting players for the Star Wars: Edge of the Empire Beginner Box to be played PbP on http://roleplayinggames.net/, who have a Star Wars dice roller built into their forums. You don't need to own the beginner box, or necessarily have any experience with Edge of the Empire in general, though I'm pretty sure everyone here will be familiar. The only requirement is that you be able to make at least 5 meaningful posts per week. I'd like to end up with about 4-6 players.

Sign me up to play! I have little experience with Edge of the Empire, but I have experience with PbP games. I have been looking for a PbP game for a while now. I am able to post once a day, mostly at night (job gets in the way of gaming...). I would like to play 41-VEX.

I'd be down to try it out. I've done story posing before, but never in an actual game system so I'd like to give it a go. I'd like to play Oskara.

Sounds good, Shadai. Be sure to give the "Read This First" document a read, as well as your character background. Now both 41-VEX and Oskara are taken.

I just found two more people to play Lowhhrick and Pash on the Paizo boards. We should be starting as soon as rpg.net approves my game.

There are two other pregen characters you know. Since the rest of us are playing pregens, wouldn't really be fair to allow a custom character.

Not posting in order to join, but rather to congratulate you all for choosing that particular site to run the game on. I've been a member there ever since I was first introduced to RPGs back in secondary school (about 11-12 years ago now), and have never regretted it. Good people, good games - an excellent location to host your campaign.

I may shadow your game, Darth; as the only other EOTE GM on there, it'll be good to see another SWR title being brought to life.

Do you happen to know how to get people able to post on my board? I can't find anywhere to accept people, so I assumed it wasn't needed. No one's been able to post, which leads me back believing they need to be accepted. Any ideas?

On the main page, there's a box of options in the top-right corner of the screen. Go onto 'Control Panel', then 'Utils' - listed under your game's title. From there it's 'Player Permissions', where you enter the username of the players you want to give access to.

Blah. I am GMing in real life and don't want to do it online too. Let me know if you get a free slot, or if you start a campaign after the Beginners box and need an extra.

I'd recommend ghosting both EOTE game boards, FootNote - mine and the Beginner Box; you never know when a slot might open up. RL can be a *****.
