So this card increases Edge on whatever card it is attached to, so does that mean that a card that is in an engagement has edge power?

They way I understand it is that Gaffi Stick enhances whatever scavenger unit it's attached to with "edge x (x being the number of participating units in the engagement). So, if you have Gaffi Stick on a Tuskin Raider and you are defending with 5 units (including the tuskin raider with the gaffi stick) then you get to add 5 to your edge stack.

I was under the impression that the wielder of the gaffi stick doesn't include himself when calculating the edge bonus. "Enhanced unit gains edge (X). X is the number of *other* friendly units participating in this engagement"
