Description: We're hosting a small Netrunner tournament at Brussels, Belgium. So far there isn't an established community in Belgium as far as I know, though there are stores that regularly host some events so there definitely are players lurking around the country. This is an efford to bring them all together.
Location : Outpost Brussels
Rue de la Tribune 8
www.outpost.be
Date: December 1, hour TBA
Price: TBA, ranging from 0 to 5€ depending on player interest
Rewards : The 2013 promo package from FFG will be distributed, so a player mat and alternative art promo cards will be among the prices. Depending on the interest, we'll consider asking attendance fee to distribute store credit among the winners. There will obviously be Netrunner products available.
Varia: The store has a surprisingly solid selection of foods and drinks, ranging from the usual to even Triple Karmeliet, fresh wraps and affordable hot meals. Languages spoken in the store range from Dutch to English to French (to even Spanish).
It will be interesting to know that several other FFG like Game of Thrones and Star Wars will also be played that day (hell, maybe even LotR). So bring all your decks so you can play in those as well. Let us know what you want to do and we'll work out a schedule so you can play all the events you want.
Expected participants : About 10 so far.
There will be some first-timers when it comes to official tournaments, so it'll be relatively low-level. Don't be afraid to show up if you've just started the game or if you're still new to 'official' competitive play. Chances are you'll destroy everything in sight.
If you don't know the rules by heart, there's obviously people you can ask. The atmosphere in general is very friendly. No stern judges or whatever.
You can easily get there on foot from the central station if you print out the way. Just a couple of minutes when walking.
Please reply in this thread if you're interested in joining. If you have ideas concerning the price plan or have a valid reason to change the date if you can't make it and really want to come, please let us know. Obviously people from outside Belgium are welcome, but - like I said - it'll be a low-level happening so might not be worth a long trip.
